I like tattoos. I think it is pure art and so unique and makes a statement. Unfortunately, I have no tattoos at all. In my teen years I worked as a model and in 2000s tattoos were not allowed for models. Now I feel like I am too old for that :)))
Always promise myself to post every day to be on top of the search engines but than got so busy with photoshoots, editing and family on top. Good evening Insta world! How is everybody? I am super excited today! Finished editing last week’s wedding and my lovely bride loved it! Looks like we both spending this day rewatching the slideshow) love my work and love make my clients happy! P.S. it is also my husband’s birthday today so I decided not to work today but still posting on Instagram and replying to the enquiries 😀
I cannot underestimate the power of social media. I was blessed to meet this wonderful couple on FB last year. These guys are awesome and support my creativity. They will be my perfect models for the styled shoot I plan with my friend @annakvideography. I am scared and excited at the same time. It will be my first time working with smoking bombs. I have an idea oh how smoke is supposed to look on my photographs but I am afraid it will be just like on everybody else’s pictures with the thin stripe of smoke blowing away by the wind. Because the photoshoot will be by the sea where it is always windy. Plus it will be a high tide tide and I am worried if the caves will be accessible and there will be a bit of sand to run on... ooooph!
What is the difference between documentary and life-style photography? Both styles look like still shots from the movie, there are laughs and warmth and interesting points of shoot. Both could work in a comfort of your own home. However, in life-style photo session people will wear matching and ironed clothes, girl with do her hair and have a make up on. House will be clean and tidy. And I will add some magic like fairy lights and ask you to lay upside down on your own bed. I will also retouch the photographs but not too much, all looking beautiful. Documentary style will be your routine Saturday morning, maybe flowery bedding or Christmas pajama in May, unmade bed, glasses on, etc. but this is not my story. I love showing people how they really are and I need clean look to avoid distraction from my main objects. Which are people. Always. And how they love each other:)
I am totally a cat person and I also like challenge. I always wanted to have dogs in my portfolio so it all worked out perfect for me and eventually for @raeselpom and @edhasnip.
I usually hear that bride says that her fiancé does not like being photographed and the only photoshoot in his life will be on the day of the wedding. I can really tell that men are way more stiff in front of the camera. Posed pictures with a couple looking straight to the camera are not my goal. The best pictures happen when the couple thinks that I have finished my job and then I say something silly and capture how they laugh together. I just love photograph people in love and so happy together ❤️❤️❤️
